After graduating as an engineer, Mike Jackson moved into banking and rose
rapidly through the executive ranks. As Senior Vice President at Bank of
America, he was Head of EMEA Commercial Operations. He then took over as CEO of
a multi-award-winning financial services company – leading it from being a
virtual ‘basket case’ to No.1 in customer service within the UK. 

Mike then went in search of an answer to one of today’s biggest management
challenges: How can business accurately forecast the future in the face
of increasing uncertainty? He jointly founded ‘Shaping Tomorrow’, in
2001, as the world’s first digital strategic foresight service. It was the
first to embrace NLP in 2013 and the first to introduce GPTs in 2022. It
continues to grow and develop strategic foresight to this day.

But Mike had a bigger vision. He set out to create the world’s first
‘democratised’, foresight and innovation company capable of ‘Reimagining the
Future’ with advanced GPTs. Going beyond the narrow, introspective mindset of ‘what’s
the next big threat to impact my business?’  he asks a much more
profound question. How does the mass of people view tomorrow – how do they
imagine the future?
