Watching the tense season finale of Line of Duty. I was struck by the similarity to many business meetings I’ve been in (without the armed police bit, mostly)…. Everyone develops their own acronym filled ‘industry-speak’. And so often this becomes a barrier to effective communication and alienating to anyone who doesn’t understand.
